What is the difference between Sessions OnDemand™ and Sessions OnDemand™ Premium?

Sessions OnDemand™ Premium provides over 800 hours of full-motion video of the sessions, plus downloadable PDFs of the slides and MP3 audio. It includes pre-conference symposia, the Late Breaking Clinical Trials, the International Congress and more! As a bonus, purchasers receive a complimentary, portable USB drive for on-the-go access. Sessions OnDemand™ Premium can be viewed on your PC, Mac and many Apple® and Android™ mobile devices.

Sessions OnDemand™, available beginning on 12/15/14, provides registered AHA/ASA professional members with access to audio MP3 recordings and PDF slides only of the AHA Scientific Sessions 2014 presentations. Sessions OnDemand™ is only available to AHA/ASA professional members who activated their membership by November 19, 2014.

Sessions OnDemand™ Premium can be purchased by both members and non-members. AHA/ASA Professional members who activated membership by November 19, 2014 receive a special member discount. The product includes a an option for online only, or online plus USB or DVD set to all of the conference presentations presented in full-motion video (additional shipping charges apply).

What is the difference between Stroke OnDemand™ and Stroke OnDemand™ Premium?

Stroke OnDemand™ Premium provides over 150 hours of full-motion video from the International Stroke Conference, 2014, plus downloadable PDFs of the slides and MP3 audio. It includes pre-conference symposia. As a bonus, purchasers receive a complimentary DVD-ROM for on-the-go access. Stroke OnDemand™ Premium can be viewed on your PC, Mac and many Apple® and Android™ mobile devices.

How do I find a certain presentation?

You can search for presentations by meeting, session title, lecture title, or speaker name by using the search box on the top of the page. Not all of the presenters have allowed their presentations to be captured for this product. If you have searched and cannot find your presentation it may be that the presenter did not provide rights.

Login Questions

How do I login if I purchased ONSITE or during conference registration and have not bought or registered for a Sessions OnDemand™ or Stroke OnDemand™ product in the past?

If this is your first time accessing any Sessions OnDemand™ or Stroke OnDemand™ product:

  1. First time users only: Click on Login at the top of the page. (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ONLINE PURCHASES.)
  2. Login with the email address you used to purchase this product, and to which a confirmation was sent.
  3. Enter your temporary password:
    • For Stroke OnDemand™ Premium:  STROKE2014
    • For Sessions OnDemand™ Premium:  SESSIONS2014
  4. If this is your first time accessing the product, you will be prompted to enter a new password. This password must be at least 5 characters, and something that's easy for you to remember.
  5. Once you are successfully logged in, it will say Log Out at the top of the screen.

How do I login if I purchased, created an account or registered for Sessions OnDemand™ 2011-2012 or Stroke OnDemand™ 2010-2013?

If you have purchased or accessed any Stroke OnDemand™ or Sessions OnDemand™ product in prior years, you must use your existing account email ID and the password you created. If you do not recall or have changed your email id since your last access, please contact us.

If you remember your email id but don't remember your password, please follow these instructions below. If the steps below do not work, then please contact us to reset your account.

  1. Click on the Login link at the top of the page.
  2. Login with the email address you used to originally access the Sessions OnDemand™ or Stroke OnDemand™ product.
  3. Enter the password you created when you originally created your account.
  4. If you do not remember your password, please click on the Forgot Password link on the login page and you will be prompted through steps to create a new password
  5. Once you are successfully logged in, it will say Log Out at the top of the screen.
  6. For help, please select Contact from the top of the page.

I would like the complimentary Stroke OnDemand™ (PDFs and MP3) product, available beginning on March 7, 2014. How do I login if I have never purchased or registered for a Stroke OnDemand™ or Sessions OnDemand™ product in prior years?

You must be an AHA/ASA Professional member to register for and access this version.

  1. Click on the Register link in the middle column on the Home page.
  2. You will need your AHA/ASA Professional Member ID and will need to create a password.
  3. Your email address will be your user name. After you finish creating your account, you will need to Log In to complete registration.
  4. Access to Stroke OnDemand™ 2014 content will be available beginning March 7, 2014.
  5. You can register for Sessions OnDemand™ 2013 following the same steps.

If you have already created an account but have forgotten your password, you may change your password by clicking here. Or, click on the Log In page and select the "Forgot Password?" link on that page.

How do I know if I have an account with this site?

You have an account if you:

  1. Registered for the AHA/ASA professional member product Sessions OnDemand™ in 2011, 2012 or 2013 or Stroke OnDemand™ in 2010-2013. OR,
  2. Purchased either Stroke OnDemand™ Premium in 2010-2013 or Sessions OnDemand™ Premium 2011-2013 – during registration, at the conference onsite booth or online through this website.

Where can I find my AHA/ASA Professional Membership Number?

To retrieve your AHA/ASA Professional Membership number, login to My.AmericanHeart.org with your username and password. Your Membership Number will be at the top of the page. You can also contact customer service: 1-800-787-8984 (U.S.) 1-301-223-2327 (Outside U.S.).

I had an account with Sessions OnDemand and/or Stroke OnDemand from a prior year, but I have changed my email address, what should I do?

If you have changed your email address since purchasing or creating your account, please select Contact at the top of this page, or email us at AHA-customersupport@astutetech.com and one of our representatives can update the email address for you. Please include both your old and new email accounts in your support request.

Technical Questions

I've connected my USB drive or DVD-ROM to my computer and nothing is happening — what should I do?

If your computer has disallowed auto-run functionality, you may need to open the folder in which the drive appears and click on start.html to open the product.

I can't download the MP3 files or PDFs from my USB (Sessions)/DVD (Stroke) product — what should I do?

The audio MP3 files and slide PDFs are downloadable from the online library only, and from your computer and tablet and not your smartphone. To access the online library, please go to www.sessionsondemand.org or www.strokeondemand.org from a computer or tablet, choose Meetings at the top of the page, and then the meeting you'd like to view. Once you browse the tracks, and select a session, you will see the PDF and MP3 button for download. PDFs are only available if the speaker has provided their file to us.

Why is the PDF column next to the selected presentation blank and why is the PDF of the slides missing?

PDFs of presenter slides are only available when the presenter has provided the file of their presentation to us. If the PDF column is missing the Adobe PDF icon and is blank, then the presenter did not provide the file and there is no PDF available.

Mobile Questions

How do I access the videos on my mobile device?

To access the videos on your iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ mobile device, please enter the URL – www.strokeondemand.org or www.sessionsondemand.org, click Log In, enter your email address and password, and then select Meetings or Browse. You will see the available Cores, select one and then a Sessions and a Presentation. Then, click the presentation thumbnail graphic. This will launch the video of that presentation via your mobile device.

Why is the user interface different on my mobile phone versus what I see on my computer or tablet?

The views for the mobile phone are optimized for the smaller viewing area. For the full interface, please access from your computer or tablet.

Can I download videos to my mobile device?

At this time, videos are streamed via your mobile device and cannot be downloaded.

How can I get an icon for this content on my iPhone or iPad?

To add an icon for this website on your iPhone or iPad, select the add icon at the bottom of the screen, and then select "Add to Home Screen". An icon will be created so that you can easily access this site in the future.

How can I get an icon for this content on my Android?

To add an icon for this content on your Android, follow these steps:

  1. Open your browser
  2. Go to www.sessionsondemand.org and bookmark this site
  3. Return to the main menu
